We knew it would be hard to find Teterboro catering to our liking. To have discovered them was a revelation. They have the best hot Italian foods on their menu. I will probably use them for my summer party. They are reasonable and it is worth not having to cook out in the summer heat. Even those that never allow others to cook for them will love the down home authentic flavor. Well, the service made my day. They also made sure to pick up their items next day.

French fries, when purchased at a fast food or other quick service restaurant, usually come with limited toppings. Most simply offer ketchup, while others will let you add gravy to your fries too. Others still offer a wide variety of French fries organized by such factors as potato, cut, and seasoning. The best though, like Steak n Shake, provide their patrons with selection of well-topped French fries. Some such toppings are chili, cheese, bacon, green onion, sour cream, special sauces, and special seasonings. If you want to try a more flavorful fry, pick up some Steak N Shake coupons and sample one of this restaurant’s offerings.

You can stack up the dishes. You stack up the bills. But did you know you can stack up your coupons? That’s what it’s called when you use your coupons in conjunction with other cost savings opportunities and increase your savings. So let’s take your Laughing Cow Cheese coupons to the store. If a coupon is worth $1 and the store doubles coupons, you actually save $2. That’s a short stack. If the store also has a sale, let’s say for 50 cents off, that’s another part of your stack. Finally, if you have a $1 rebate offer, use it as well and you’ve added to your stack. So now your $1 coupon is worth $3.50.

Even with all the ups and down of couponing, newspapers are still the best place to find a Quaker Oats coupon, or almost any other food or household item coupon you might want to use. Especially on circular day and Sunday, you will find dozens and sometimes a hundred or more coupons in the paper. Other sources are magazines, direct mail coupon packs and of course the up and coming provider is the internet. One nice thing about newspaper coupons is that they are all right there in one place (usually the inserts) so you don’t have to go searching for them. Just sit down with a cup of coffee and clip away.

I have a slight guilty pleasure to share: one of my favourite things to snack on is cranberry sauce straight out of the can. I know, I know, it’s a little unusual and I can almost hear some of you turning your noses up but cranberry sauce really is a tasty treat all on its own, especially when it’s been refrigerator chilled. You really ought to try it, and if I can, I’d like to tempt you with one of my abundant Ocean Spray coupons. So you can offset the feared burden on your taste buds by eliminating any burden on your budget. What do you say? Is it a deal?

The ideal waffle has a slightly crunchy exterior and a light and fluffy interior. Its flavor is understated, as is its sweetness, and both blend delightfully well with any toppings or additions to the batter. The ideal waffle, however, can also be hard to find if you don’t want to eat out at a restaurant. Homemade waffles are a messy affair and you can forget about finding perfection in most of the frozen brands on the market today; they don’t cook very evenly and often end up burnt on the outside and soggy on the inside — yuck. If frozen waffles are your only option though, try shopping around. Use a Kashi coupon with your next waffle purchase if you want to save some money.

Now that couponing has become popular again, it’s time to refresh your knowledge of the couponing rules and etiquette. Here is one of each. Rule: The expiration date is the expiration date. Don’t attempt to use a coupon that is outdated. The store should not accept it and the manufacturer probably won’t pay the store if it does. Etiquette: Don’t be a hog. Just because you found a great Pepsi coupon and got 40 of them does not mean you should redeem all 40 today. Give other shoppers a chance; buy a few now and more later. (Hogs are one reason stores sometimes limit the number of items you can buy at one time. The other is to create demand, the theory being that if they limit, you’ll assume everyone is going to want it which means it’s a product you should buy.)

My husband and I finally made a decision. We had been having a hard time deciding what we wanted for a commercial gas range. We are opening a restaurant and we are both chefs. We could not agree on the range that we wanted to get. We came up with an easy compromise, we are buying both. There is plenty of room in the kitchen so there is no reason that we we can’t both cook on what we like.

What comes to mind when you think of well-established products that can still be considered innovative? I think of cherry-flavored cola beverages because cola, on its own, doesn’t seem to have the kind of flavor that would blend well with something fruity, but somehow the two work well together. I can understand vanilla – the other most common flavor addition – much better, but I guess the idea of cherry cola will always be a little muddled for me. Oh well. I’ve got a bunch of coupons on me and since one is a Coke coupon, I think I’ll be heading out to the grocery store now. It seems like I’ve got myself a craving.
